Will shape of the land had influence on the battle and on untis stats?

Will archers shut farder if they are on the top of the hil? Will cavalery be slower if runing thru swap? ect.

good question, I'm intested in knowing as well. Elevation advantages have always played a major role in war.

I also think that different units should have different advantages and disadvantages depending on terrain.

Example: Cavalry might easily be able to charge down swordsmen on clear plains, but they'd be slaughtered like cattle in forests or in swamps, becausethey'd be heavily restricted. They'd also have a disadvantage over infantry, while charging uphill.

I thik that yo're typing to fast;) .
No, but seriously. I think that knights should take over the role of officers in Cossacks. Or at least units in the proximity of a knight, who is a good commander, should be better organised and obey orders quicker than those who aren't.

It would be great if there was an advantage for archers on a hill, since that would enable you to use more different strategies. Also do castles/outposts/towers built on hills have an advantage when assaulted by an army?

Not even on a hill, archers on towers can shoot farther than on walls or on ground.

That will increase the realism a lot.
