I don't know if you already noticed it, but the peasants are removed from the Unit Showcase. So my Question to the devs, why did you remove them? Weren't they good for the game-feeling, or was it because of the look?

Thx for answers.

pull peasants back and add another unit instead of them? (idealistic me :)) there are swordsmen as backbone for army so maybe that was the reason?

Maybe they found that the peasants use was .... nothing... Maybe they will add another unit in his place.

I hope.

G'day,

Most people may not use them I guess.

I think so too. When I saw that screenshot with hundreds of thousounds of peasants in ambush it really crossed my mind. I hope they put some other unit instead. God knows we always need more of those... :D :p

But then perhaps peasant no longer count under units because basically they weren't. That doesn't mean you can't have a rebellion of those same. Hope devs can shed some light on this...

Ok peasents are not remouved, they still have to be there for the economically purpose, but will they still be able to attack?

There is nothing better, than having some rabiate Spanish villagers in AoC with supremecy upgrade, to tear down an entire enemy city :D I only wished they had their torches and pitchforks, to add to the mood

I think I may have guessed why are they not on the unit list. They will be there, but basically they are not a military unit. ;)

I though the same!

You won't control them as militia, but they will surely be there and of course revolt.

No no no. You can control militia.

So peasants will be exchanged with new unit "Militia" (a bit better trained) or what does this mean?

*Sigh*

No change guys. Peasants are still the same peasants as you know them. The ONLY change is that they are removed (may be mistake) from the web page. :)
