units deployment

when i start a battle (in multiplayer), can i deploy my troops on battlefield like i prefer... or my soldiers are already deployment by CPU?

In my opinion a good idea is:

battlefield; in the opposite sites, two "deployment zone" for two army; in my zone i can deploy every unit like my preferences;

something like warhammer fantasy's pc games...

No, i don't think that there will be a deployment-mode before the battle begins - although it would be nice and an option that the devs should deffently consider for the next release IMO !

The battlefield could have 2 castles and each person(team) has one. Then all the soldiers start near the castle. The soldiers are there for the moving....so they arent really already on the battlefield, you move them, they are just waiting near your castle. Thats a thought.....

i'll agree, i also think that when players forexample attack a castle, then the squads start a short distance away and then the player has to march the army closer to the castle...
