Trade routes with the Middle East

In some games you can trade with nations from the Middle East althought the map didn't reach that far. Will there be trade routes to the Middle East?

maybe.. but it will depend on your geografical place. if you do not control the east part of the mediterrean sea it will be diffucult to trade with the east. of course thats my opionion and from realistic point of view :)

update: frank said that there will be no trade with the middle east.
