Perhaps, this question will be only tryying to make the game more complicated, but....
will be possible to fight the duels, f.i. if you don't want t go into a battle, cause your forces are weaker, your knight asks the enemy's for a duel... just the possibility. I don't think it can be used often (is there anybody who doesnt like the sound of tä bettle?), but it was possible in middle ages...

And then they'll merry daughters of each other :D

(the last was joke)

No duels for KoH lads.

But I also wonder how it could work? I mean we have here an Isometric strategy game. It can be done only way

a) Realistic battles, one hit, one dead: Means duels starts, one hit and one guy dead. "The End"...bang ? Disappointing?

b) Non realistic battles, they hit 20 times each other, one falls from horse and the other wins? Boring?

However there is a possibility that one Knight meets another Knight when no army attached. But in KoH Knights have their guards to protect them. So no Unit2Unit combat.

But how about that:

You hire a spy to Kill a Knight? If you dont want to fight against him.

That is possible in KoH.

What about the army then? Wouldn't just someone else step up to lead it?

So we get realistic battles, one hit, one kill? I've always missed that in RTS. I'm gonna love this.

You're right, Frank  a spi is a good possibility. Not so honorable, but practical and also more enjoyable.

Yes you can marry our daughters / sons. If well thought through, it can bring you strategically advantages.
