why cant my men climb up the ladders when i assult a town?
how do you get them to do it?

You just need to put your laddermen with ladders aganist a wall and then ask your troops to go on the wall (just click on it).

it depends.

Maybe you ordered them to climb palisade? they can only climb stone walls

When they climb the walls there should be small "ladder" icon when your mouse button is over the wall
