After a long protracted campaign as York on Easy just to get into the feel of the game, I seached around to find an exotic alternative.
How about this little place called Zeta, I thought.
So I set the game to Normal and started.
Well, I thought Zeta might be a nice little Serb fishing village...10 minutes later Id been invaded twice; once by Sicily then by the Papacy.
Germany was my only ally. Every neighbour kept calling me a cur or dog to want to trade with them. I asked for help from Germany against Sicily. They complied.
After The Papacy invaded even they were calling me names.Shortly after that my villages were pillaged and then my single town besieged.
I didn t even have an army. I had two knights-theone I started with (freebie) and an heir.
End of game.
Anyone tried Zeta??
By the way, I ve moved onto Norway...
