Multiplayer zone

I was wondering if KoH will have a zone in multiplayer or something similar like AoK, AoM, Warcraft, Empire Earth, etc.. And if yes, will there be rated games?

We are using in-game GameSpy for match making ... so expect plenty of opponents :)

Don't you know that gamespy is the most laggy thing you can get? Make your own servers instead, please.

The Gamespy client-software is rather buggy and slow, but the GameSpy-Matchmaker-Server are fast and are extremely stable...

We are using our own networking engine during the game. GameSpy is doing great job in finding online players.

Is the networking based on DirectPlay?
About 50% of all gateways give their users an extremely hard time to play via DirectPlay...

And BTW, i don't mind if the network is laggy as long as you can find a lot of players. My computer network is already laggy so it won't bother me much.
