Devs...please release the system specs! I need to know whether or not I am going to need some new equipment for my computer. I assume that others are awaiting the same information for the same reason.

A preview on the system specs:
1 Ghz CPU
16MB grafics card.
256 MB RAM.

Maybe even lower, but we'll have to wait for the devs to know this for sure.

That is minimum, but what do you need for a reasonable speed to play with?

in fact they are the maximum minimum system specs, i think. So i mean what comp do you need in order to play the game at a reasonable speed, cuz i think if you're on the minimum you get choppy gameplay.

It will not require too much, as it is in 2D.
But if you consider that every ruler in whole Europe does all his actions in realtime, this will need a good processor maybe.

I would think, to be on the safe side, that one would want 512MB of memory, 1GHz+ processor, and 32 - 64MB video card. Even though the game is a 2D hybrid, there will still be some graphical effects, such as the waterfalls, among other things, which may require some more juice out of the video card.

But then again I could be totally and completely wrong!! :O:D

You are right, 256MB of RAM might be a bit tight if you are using an operating System like Windows Xp, but even then you won't need 512MB RAM. 384MB RAM would surely do the trick.
And about the GFX-Board-RAM:
16MB should be absolutely okay.
If you want to play Unreal Tournament while playing KoH on a dual-monitor system however, you'll maybe need 32MB or even 64MB :D .
From my experience 16MB should be okay for this game. Frank Fay said something in the same direction.

Ah.. alright. Most games these days won't run smooth without the 512MB of memory, but this game is a little less heavy on the system, or so we would think.

Guys you shorley got better computers then that, if not. You can always uppgrade shep on this page.
www.Datorbutiken.com.

And now days you at least need 1024mb of system memory too get the new games runnig smothley ( i know i spell badley). And you at least need a 256mb graphics card to get the new games, not maybe this game but others.

Pretty much only the really new ones.. such as Far Cry, Doom 3, Rome Total War, and some others.

All of those games run and operate on a mid-range system (1-2ghz 512MB >64MB video card)... but they will be SLOW.. very slow and laggy, and also the graphics will have to be turned down quite a bit in order to work right on the system.

Lol, I run far cry perfectly on my 2nd computer (800 mhx 256 ram and a 16 mb video card) and thats without slowness or lag and also with the graphics at highest possible settings.

Oh, and i thought RTW would keep the specs low... now it wont even run on my PC! (512 MB)
