Am I Using Wrong Tactics?

Hello Everyone!

I recently bought KoH and liked it very much. I am playing it for at least 5 hours every day. It ruined my social life :)

Everyone in this forum is talking about educating your spies. Yes your spies mostly fail to be picked and to succeed in their missions without enough education. But for God's sake how can you educate your spies (or your other knights other than marshalls) without Universities? The Strategy I have been trying to use is to create university in order to produce books and educate my knights. But it takes too long to build a university even if I have built hostel and made a builder govern my province. So How am I going to educate my knights?

Or Should I just use a battle strategy?

not only university makes books, clerics and churches too.

ps: if you want to make your cleric write, he must be governing a province

Build churches in all provinces, you get one book per church per cycle.
