hey all..
Now, ive been following this game's development since January or so last year..
I remember I begged for a zoom in function and was told to try out the demo (btw, why shouldnt i try the demo)..
And overall its a really, really nice game so far.
And the only thing it is still missing is actually a zoom in function. (i saw someone asking for it yesterday too).
it could be cool to be able to do it... But it's probably too late now im afraid.

besides, it is a shame only to be able to see these absolutely wonderful graphics only in battles when there isnt really time to look at it..

There was zoom function ... you still can zoom by using cheat code .. but not in a demo.
It was gone for good.

You do have time to look at the beautiful towns in battle if you press the pause key ;)

and in pause mode noone goes around in one's own business.

Cheat code is there in full game.

We decided to remove it officialy due to gameplay reasons. But at least it is in the cheats :)

If the zoom is only in the cheat mode, will someboby please post :-) I played the demo maby 4 times and i really love the game, the only thing is that i want to see what i build!
Can´t wait till tomorrow!!!

A zoom feature gives a sense of immersion in the era. Crusader Kings has no cities to view - instead there are castles and counties. It also passes the time when saving up for those walls or besieging some enemy. Please, oh please, restore the feature. It brings out the beauty of the artwork.

Concerning this cheat code of urs.. Will i have to enter it every single time i wanna zoom or will it last as long as i play the game that day? So a hotkey for zooming will be activated when entering the code?
