question on unit creation

ok sorry if im missing something basic here,

got a marshal in a city, all that citys got in its unit list is basic units like bowmen + axemen, hasnt got swordsmen even tho ive got a sword maker built is there anyway to add units to that list?

basically. no.

Each province can produce certain units. These are shown in the unit production box when you go to make a unit. To my knowledge, there is no way you can "add" units to the list.. just "activate" them. IE.. building a swordsmith and chainmail smith would activate heavy swordsmen.

Tip: Pause the game and go to political view. Then click the Knight Head. It will show you the provinces where units can be produced. This includes basic, upgraded,territorial, and kingdom specific units. this is the best way to figure out what can be made where. :go:
