Been playing Knights of Honor for the last day now, I haven't slept in 24 hours lol. Had a question, is 9 the maximum Knights one can have? Seems tough to when you have a lot of provinces.

Thanks

If the game were any easier would it be more fun for you?

I enjoy the challenge.

I agree with Knights, it would be nice to have as many marshals as you need, plus guys who govern your provinces and merchants.
But that would probably throw the balance of the game off, as the big nations would be too strong. This way I guess it is always a challenge even if you have many provinces, because a small country has a chance to kick your butt.

Then i would fill my provinces with marshalls, and i will be unbeatable.
Maybe 9 isnt the perfect amount, but unlimited = cheat.
politics can give you all you want

In medieval Europe the average nation had one single army. The only historically correct thing would be to restrict the amount of marshalls to one.
I think 9 is quite good :go: .
I seldomly use all my knight-slots.

9 knights are enough.
but a prison cell would be good.

I agree with the prison cell idea. Some points in time I have 3 prisoners and no more slots for my knights. I usually have to execute the prisoners to make room since the other kingdoms can't afford to buy back their knights..

i never get prisoners because i have 7 marshals, one trader and one cleric ... and i need those 7 marshals :)

I have no taxes and all kingdom advantages, at the moment i have 7-8 rebels plundering my kingdom. The highest rate of rebellion is 1%, all the other provinces have 0 till more than -30% ... I can't keep up with the rebellions

You can try converting the rebellious provinces, thats helps i guess.

Well, using the " Recycling " tactic is a good idea...

My court has 2 merchants, 1 cleric, 2 marshalls, 2 spies. If war breaks, I dismiss the merchants and use my stocked gold to make a temp army :D

Well I admit that sounds pretty stupid cause you will lose the precious skill points...

They're all the same religion (catholic)

Then you have a nostalgia problem, use your clerik (you will need 100 books per one nostalgia point). When you conquer the province nostalgia is usualy 10pts

I think we should have some more knight (personnally) because i love when u have full units (bcs 9 knight to win over all europe =/ )

just wanna know is there any way that a knight can have more unit groups than the base number of units groups allowed?

9 is fair enought if not to much :P i always have no problem with marshalls

And i think game designed so that it needs exactly 9 knights more will make unbalance or it will become diferent game

I like the max 9 marshall thing they have added. What I do not like is that when you have 9 marshalls you can't have clerics, merchants, etc. It should be divided into two different thing. Max 9 marshalls for example and max 9 other type of knights in another box.
