No Resources!?

Anyone else dislike how the game randomly generates resources/kings? I hate it. I started a new game as Poland and I have so many troop building options in certain provinces but no resources (Like pasture for building horses for Cavalry)

I find it very well worked-out. There's no challenge in having each nation keeps it standard values. Because it would mean that by definition a country can be called a supernation due it's standard values. (ie. rare resources / multiple princes etc).
