:viking: Some tip for all KoH fans that like to play hard :viking:

I have found out today that when you attack (at the begin) a country that is verry loved by the entire world, in my case it was Brittany, you get a lot of enemy's, then it gets verry hard to play.

" We have the impression that the kingdom of Brittany seems to be some what beloved by the entire world "

To find out who is loved by the entire world you need to read the Valuable Rumours (Political view, Kingdoms, Spy button) then attack that country, and have loads of hard gameplay. :bash:

You need also to start the game at Hard

:king: :go:

Knights of Honor ROCKS :rofl: :yawn: :rofl:

Well isnt't it called Papacy in english version? I thought so. I mean the Vatican, the state of the pope, the one which you can't play, it's start province is Rome. :)

Destroy this state and you eleminate the pope, so all Catholics will hate you!

@Frujin: Also a good idea! :D

another way to increase difficulty is just to start the game(1 province nation), set 10* speed, and go away for 2 hours,but be sure that u r not at war with some1 ;) than when u r back the AI has some nice armies and cities and u have some kinda challenge :p

I've actually done this with Granada. I immediately attacked the Papacy as soon as I had two Marshals with a full load of peasants. Headed straight over to Rome and took it over. Everybody declared war on me and sent over their armies. I just let them plunder the villages while I waited for them to come attack the city. At this point, I only had two provinces: Granada and Rome.

They all sent their peasants armies and I took their marshals prisoner. Either released them for their ransom or released them free and demanded vassalage - which they would accept after a while. They would send armies, go into battle with me, I'd win. My marshals would level up. My economy was pretty much built on vassal tributes and marshal ransoms. It really wasn't too hard at all. Even the crusaders they sent stood no chance. I even took one of the crusader marshals prisoner. hehe.

It was fun seeing all the armies march onto Rome, though. Eventually the action died down as they gave up and became my vassal or just ended up fighting eachother.

Me, personally, I don't think the Pope should be eliminated. He makes a very nice thorn in the side of Catholic nations. Adds a degree of difficulty, always wondering whether you should tell the Pope to sod off or let him take your knight on one of his stupid cursades. I also like to be able to bribe a bunch of nations at one time by sending money to the Pope.

Yeah, conqour the Papacy, but let the Pope always be there with his influence. If Papacy ever gets taken over, the Pope can have the faithful try to re-establish it.

Not if you wipe out the Papacy itself.
