Try this link people,
http://pc.ign.com/articles/445/445693p1.html
if it doesnt work when you click on it simply highlight it and copy the url into a new browser window.
Might take a few seconds for the article to actually load as well- crappy advert filled site :(

I had no problems with the link, thank you very much Lord Nicko :)
Just to inform you: Frank and Frujin are in germany on press tour at the moment. This preview is based on a visit of my colleague in the US in september.
Anyway, it's very cool to see that press trips turn out to be a huge success

no problem, hope all goes well for them. It sounds like the game is getting close to a demo release :)
Hey they got the release date wrong. They said it would be released first half of 2004 when it realy is to be released second quater of 2004.

Good article!!
I'm too impatient to find out the details how to work diplomacy.
Did anyone else get a warm fuzzy when the article spoke about day/night cycles and the effects on villagers and military, specifically the villagers pack up and go home while the guards carry torches?
Nice touches I would say.

They said they would be able to get their hands on a running version in 1Q2004 - that doens't mean the final, but a preview-version for gaming-sites/magazines, but not for us... :(

Just a quick stop on our way back to Sofia. The IGN report is the result of a colleague who went to the states and presented the game. We visited this time German magazines.
