Some how, I disabled the castle icon on the mini map. How do I bring this back?

Same thing hapened to me when l installed the patch. l found no way to bring them back, so l had to reinstall the game, make a backup copy of maps\europe\minimap\big, mid and mini and when l installed the patch, l replaced new files with old ones

Just above the minimap there are some buttons. Click the right-most button until they are back (should be once or twice).

Do you mean the political minimap mode button? lf he has the same problem l had, l don't think that will help him. The castle icons were gone from the minimap files l mentioned and l think it was caused by the patch.

It used to after the patch also, just all of a sudden they were gone.

the patch changes the minimap. Your towns start to be white and when mouse button is abve the town, you can see who is owner and what is your relation to him(ally/neutral/at war)

Just, pure white? Can you please explain this better?

in pre-atched version towns were yellow or gold, on post patch minimap YOUR towns are white and other are the same, but with owner etc. displayed if mouse button goes above them

Yes, but the castles on the mini map have disappeared. Do I have to re-install?

And when you reinstall it make backup copy of maps\europe\minimap\mini.bmp(mid.bmp, big.bmp) in case it happends again

Can't you just host those files for me? Instead of me having to reinstall?
