about units

hello everyone im new here and im excited about this game because i love archers and knights and castles. anyways, i was wondering how the units worked.. like is it like age of empires where u make each individual unit or is it like praetorians where it makes and unit of about 20 men at a time.. thanks

I think you can create squads of units not single units since during battles you only control squads not each single units.

Well, the game is about continental conquest, so having to train each soldier individually... ouch.

I think training each unit individually falls under micromanagment and the dev. don't want any of that in their game.

You train complete groups, not single units.
