Disappearing army

I was playing with Germany in late, when a marshal from Savoy attacked my town. I was organiseing my units when sudenlly the battle was over. I thought that maybe the enemy retreated, but there was no voice saying that. Then the screen after battle apeared saying: "You have chosen to leave us, my Lord..." and the enemy army wasn't there! It was gone. Maybe it was a spy :scratch: , but no mercenary camp appeared. Help, i'm confused :confused:

Ive heard of this once before, I will try to find the thread. I can't remember if it was in the demo or not, but they both sound similar. :scratch:
