I have noticed down there in images that flag colours are similar to the colour this country is "painted" in the map:

England (red)
France (blue)
HRE (black)
Poland (red)
Hungary (brown)
Italy (green)
and etc.

Is it real thing? Are colours in the map created according to real historic flags, or just flags are more a work of fiction? ( If it's so, Lithuanian flag should be light blue (nonsense)).I know red English flag with three lions and the blue french with those fleur-de-lis, but let's say I haven't any idea of Aragon's or Normandy's flag. Will all flags be authentic?

There is one problem: here is list of "nations" with red plain and many diferent heraldic figures(the plain is main think for "nation's colour"):
Lithuania, Poland, Bohemia, Norway, Hungary, Osman Turks, Moscow, Castille, England, Swiss, by flag also Denmark

with blue:
France, Scotland, Asturia, Sweden, Venice, Walachia, Kiev

I think it's impossible to make all flags with accurate colours, but yes, it yould be nice. That's why I offer my map of European heraldry here (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?s=&threadid=314&perpage=50&pagenumber=2)

I havent ever noticed flag of Italy in middle ages for simple reason there was no Italy, Portugal was far from green etc.

*edit*
PS I gues this sicilian flag (http://www.strategyinformer.com/misc/screenshot-viewer.shtml?knightsofhonor,64,1) is right, I guess it's flag of Honenstaufen, what is right for high medieval :)
