Opponents Trade

I tend to deny trade agreements unless they are strategically useful. This angers some countries but keeps them from riding my coat tails.

Does anyone know if your income increases from the trade of other countries with your kingdom. Trade is usually mutual but I dont seem to make more money if another country trades heavily with me. Is all trade tied to your own merchants???

you can have income from trade only when your merchant is sent to a trade route...

you have no income just from signing trade agreement
