How do i pause at all???(i know i am dumb)

really, i looked in the manual, i tried a bunch of keys in the game and i seached theses forums and i just couldn't find out how to pause the game either on the world map or the battle maps. the best i could do was get game speed to 0.5.
any help would be apreciated

Use the Pause Key. It's on your keyboard. It's right next to the Scroll Lock key. LOL

The Pause Key is on every Windows keyboard.... I think I said enough.
