beta testing is testing before the game is released to detect bugs in the game

I personally have never seen the attraction to beta testing, getting an un-finished, buggy version doesnt really appeal to me. In my opinion it would runin the impact of the final clean version.

In some cases yes, however i know many games where people have done the beta testing, however this really doesn't apeal to me. I'd rather wait for the final version.

im an avid gamer i play pretty much anything beta or not :)
