cant get to play online

hi everyone can some one help me iv got the full game but no games come on game spy and i know no one with the game

i think this could have 2 reasons:

1. there is really nobody online. I don't know it exactly, because I don't play Multiplayer, but as far as I know the MP-modus isn't very popular.

2. You've got a firewall and the right ports are closed. I think in technical-help forum are the ports written which have to be open...
