Crossbowmen Question

Why are the crossbowmen only available to the Swiss and Italians?

And they were famous of crossbowmen. Genoese crosbowmen as french mercenaries in 100years war, William Tell, as Swiss hero in a struggle against Habsburgs... maybe they can be available also in regions like low lands, catalonia-Aragon, Rheinlands.

What will the trajectory of the crossbow bolts be? Will it be straight or looped. Praying for straight for historical accuracy!

Crossbows was actually an inferior weapon to the longbow, specially because of the range, but the training time was dramatically shorter. It took a lifetime to master the longbow, but just a couple of years training with the crossbow.

I would also say that shooting with Crossbow can result in better accuracy....at least in medium-short distances.

And there are also still some people who have a crossbow at home and go shot with them, because they are in a crossbow-shot-club...my uncle for example:D (But that's also in other countries I suppose)
